Pekin Hospital - Need A Doctor?

I have been attending the Wellness Center since October to try to get past needing oxygen. I’m improving and appreciate the caring core of helpers.

My experience at Pekin Hospital has been very good overall - with excellent care and explanations.

They were expecting me. I had gone to the doctor’s office and they suggested I go to the ER. They called to let them know I was coming and everything was already taken care of when I got there. I appreciate having a facility available when I need it.

All of the people in Intensive Care and Critical Care should be recognized because they are a great group of workers.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got turned around in the hall, and I think it was a doctor who took me to my destination!

When I was taken to Radiology, the x-ray tech was very concerned about my privacy. I was very impressed.

When I had my pulmonary function test, there was NO wait for registration!

Anytime we had a question, the ladies at Home Health called us back promptly. They taught me the proper way to use a shower chair. My safety and comfort were foremost during my home therapy.

All in all, I couldn’t ask for better treatment. Thanks to all of you.

Our family is so thankful to have such a good hospital in Pekin.

The supervisor was training another worker. They were both excellent and must have asked me if I was comfortable at least five times! It was a great experience.
