I was able to do a lot of things on my own, but the Home Health ladies were very nice and friendly.


I was having heart pain and was seen immediately, then given an EKG. I think the treatment was thorough and good. Having a heart attack at 48 is shocking.


The nurses took extra care with our two-year-old son - even taking extra steps not to wake him while he was sleeping.


I am an RN and have worked in other facilities including those in Peoria, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and professionalism of the Physical Therapy staff. They had handouts with directions written for me – not all hospitals do this. A very good experience.


I moved to Washington from Pekin, and I still drive to Dr. Hunter’s office because I really like her and trust her.


This visit has changed my mind considerably about Pekin Hospital and the way things are run there today. It's the people that make a difference, and you can be proud of the staff you have.


They already had my insurance information in the computer – nice!


The technician who drew my blood was very friendly and efficient. It did not hurt at all!


We were very pleased with the overall care our son received at Pekin Hospital. He had to spend the night for the first time ever in the hospital, and the staff was just wonderful to him. This proves that bigger isn’t always better. I would choose Pekin over any other hospital any day!


We both enjoyed the home health care, therapists and nurses. They were all very kind and helpful.


Anytime we had a question, the ladies at Home Health called us back promptly. They taught me the proper way to use a shower chair. My safety and comfort were foremost during my home therapy.








Patient Service Center

Patient Service CenterOur Patient Service Center brings outpatient services to the patient instead of making the patient go to several different locations for outpatient services. Patient convenience is the key. A specially trained patient representative will assist you with registration, as well as answer questions and guide you through the rest of your hospital visit.

Services include:
  • Registration for outpatient services
  • Laboratory services, including drawing blood for tests and collecting urine samples
  • Outpatient EKGs
  • Cashier to accept payment on bills or payment for classes or services offered on 3 South
  • Pre-registration for select services such as obstetrics, surgery and ambulatory surgery
  • Patient relations to answer questions and concerns that patients, visitors and family members may have about hospital and physician services
  • Appointments available for lab draws - call 353-0410
  • Inpatients can buy meal tickets for their visiting guests
The registration for inpatients is at bedside. All inpatients go directly to the floor - no stopping in "Admitting."
