My experience at the doctor’s office was very good – I can’t find one thing to complain about!

My experiences with the Women's Diagnostic Center have always been very good. I especially like not having to wait ... getting in and out in a matter of minutes.

I moved to Washington from Pekin, and I still drive to Dr. Hunter’s office because I really like her and trust her.

I am a Type I diabetic, and they took very good care of me in the ER. The doctor and nurses were very thoughtful.

I was having heart pain and was seen immediately, then given an EKG. I think the treatment was thorough and good. Having a heart attack at 48 is shocking.

I really liked the Home Health nurses and therapists. They took my pain away. I think this is a very good program.

Intermediate Care (ICU)/Critical Care Units (CCU)

Pekin Hospital Intermediate Care (ICU)/Critical Care Units (CCU) Equipped with the best technology for close surveillance, the Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Pekin Hospital are located on the seventh floor. The ICU/CCU is staffed by specially trained nurses who are certified in advanced cardiac life support and other intensive care treatments that are required by severely ill or injured adult patients. These nurses work as a team with physicians and various support services to provide quality care.

The ICU/CCU consists of 19 intermediate beds and 8 critical care beds. The Intermediate Unit has 7 private rooms and 12 semi-private rooms, while all Critical Care beds are private rooms.
